I I love making this cake. Firstly covered the cake in red sugar paste and let it dry Then I covered the cake with white and cut out the pattern to reveal the red underneath. The flower is out of sugar and a lot of fun to make.
At last am I seeing the end of the 2012 Christmas cake train. there are only 8 cakes more to decorate. After 60 cakes the 8 that needs decorating feels like a steep hill to climb. Will be very happy when it is all done.
